We are lucky enough to have here about 20 classic fuzz pedals from the 60s and 70s that we can go and reverse engineer and make sure they are just right. Sam Ash Fuzz, the Univox Super Fuzz, the Vox Tonebender they all have subtle but important differences in their history.
