FUZZ FUZZ FUZZ - What is a Fuzz guitar pedal really ? Well it's a very simple circuit, that includes maybe 25 to 30 components. A group of vintage transistors, that are pushed that will make them clip, overdrive, buss, distorted and give you that aggressive guitar tone that started in the mid 1960s. You can hear this from the Yardbirds, Beatles, The Stone's all the hip rock n roll bands of the mid 1960s jumped on the Fuzz bandwagon and no one ever really got off. Their aggressive, fuzzy, knarly, piercing, everything a rebel sound should be ! The circuits are basic but unique as well as the transistors that went into them, just like the tubes of the day EL34, 6L6, 6V6 EL84 etc.There are so many great Fuzz tone's but you really need to collect them all !
