The legendary Octavia Fuzz Pedal which goes all the way back to Jimi and Purple Haze with it's beautiful and aggressive upper octave fuzz tones which are just undeniably recognizable and inspiring.  This is based on the Tycobrahe Octavia which are incredibly hard to find because well they where only around for a few years and they didn't make a lot. I did a lot of detail work on this, I got the paint as close as I could to powder coating so its tough and durable. I got the right transistors as usual, the right transformer inside, and I set it up so the circuit is negative 9V as it should but you can use a stock 9V Neg Tip PS supply.  Others do it but reverse the polarity of the circuit, it will sound ehhh close but not right. I want it to be right for the best tone possible for you guys so I put the extra work in and components to flip the polarity at the plug but not the circuit. 

You will also see a switch on it so you can turn the octave OFF, and get just a cool 70s Fuzz Tone which is convenient to have. But man I love the Octavia tone, it is HUGE sounding, it tracking like its suppose to. It is aggressive and also chimmey and chinging.  What is chinging and chimmey ???? Well you know it is an Octavia - you can't describe it if you never heard one. I plugged it in when I built the prototype - turned up loud and BAMMMMMM IT IS HUGE SOUNDING !! HUGE !

    Octavia Fuzz

    What a great pedal! The design of the shell is cool, it's substantial but pedalboard friendly. I love how each pedal has custom knobs that suit it. I ordered the custom dark grey, it's a true homage to vintage pedals. Next the sound that this pedal has is far out, it isn't the 80's type but the 60's type, a creator's distorted paradise. The switch for the octave is great too. If you're looking for a true, handmade pedal go with this.

    Best Octavia Fuzz

    An amazing fuzz. Can produce warm overdrive to Woolly Mammoth germanium madness. I love pedals the have sweet spots throughout the taper of the knobs. TruFi pedals do that so well. That octave is fantastic...can be subtle or can scream. Another absolute winner!

    Ode To Octavia

    This is my fourth Tru-Fi pedal with another on the way. In my search for an octave/fuzz pedal, I've owned three or four in the past. The search is now over. Full stop. What I've been trying to nail is Jimi's effect on "Who Knows" - this does it. While other pedals have achieved varying degrees of closeness, with little effort this pedal delivers. I still sound like me, but me with that unique octave/fuzz effect. Build and material quality is the same as my other Tru-Fi pedals - top shelf. Happy with my choice of color: Sonic Blue. Interactions with the owner/builder have been consistently positive. While YRMV, highly recommend Tru-Fi's Octavia pedal. PS Tip: I found using the neck pickup as a particularly sweet spot for the octave effect."

    My 2nd Tru-Fi pedal and I'm as blown away as I was when I bought my Colordriver. Hands down the best octave fuzz on the market for me personally. It does blown out balls to the wall perfectly, it does subtle perfectly. This thing sounds huge!! It's enormous...and the thing is built like a tank. The fuzz on it's own is fabulous....very 70s rock...it grinds yet it chimes. I really can't say enough about this pedal, it just sounds so big and open, like a transistor fuzz should. Excellent work, I can't wait for my next Tru-Fi pedal

    Inspiring piece of gear

    This pedal is astonishing, it does the Hendrixy upper octave thing so well but that's the tip of the iceberg. I found a multitude of "sweet spots" with the level and boost interacting with pick attack, and hitting the octave, well it just screams and wails. I paired it with a vibe because of course I did and it sounds exactly like you'd imagine, but the secret sound I was after, that One Rainy Wish sweet tone..... oh yes, there it is! The octavia is the reason I got this, but the juicy fuzz is the reason it's staying in the chain. It's a keeper and looks amazing too.
